New to temping?

What does the 4Leisure Temporary team do?

4Leisure Recruitment supports the Leisure industry by supplying additional staff as and when different businesses/ facilities require cover. This could be for an ad hoc day, a week or even 6 months!

What does this mean for you?

When you are registered to work through 4Leisure, you’ll be offered work that matches your skill set, qualifications and location. The work offered is flexible, so you can work one shift a week or five! You can also change how much you work from week to week, fitting in around your schedule.

How do I register?

Registering is easy and our Consultants are on hand to walk you through the process. All you’ll need to register are your CV and compliance documents including your Right to Work in the UK, Industry Qualifications and DBS (if applicable). You’ll also be asked to complete a registration form, to detail information such as previous work history and references. Once you’ve done that, we’ll arrange a registration meeting either face to face or through a video link to assess what type of assignments you’re suited to. Ready to register?

What happens once I am registered?

You’ll have access to your online candidate portal to update your availability to work. Your designated Consultant at 4Leisure will then communicate to you all work opportunities for you to accept or decline. Once you have accepted a placement you will then receive email confirmation. This confirmation includes all the information required such as address, point of contact on arrival, rate of pay and uniform.

How do I prepare for my placements?

You’ll receive a booking confirmation via email with full details of each assignment. Checking instructions on uniform guidelines and assignment duties are particularly important as well as preparing your route well in advance to ensure you’re arriving at least 20 minutes before your shift starts. Your Consultant will be able to provide you any special instructions for the assignment and they’ll always be available to answer any questions.

What is expected of me throughout my assignment?

To perform all of the duties specified for your role whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service at all times. You may also be asked to assist with other appropriate tasks to support the team. It is important to be pro-active, flexible and use your initiative throughout the assignment as this demonstrates a strong work ethic and leaves a positive lasting impression which means you’re more likely to be rebooked!

How do I get paid?

At the end of each working week you’ll need to login to your candidate portal and submit your timesheet for the days and hours worked. This timesheet is then sent to the manager that was on your shift for approval. You then receive payment every Friday for the hours worked in the previous week.

It’s as easy as that! Ready to get started?
