Job Description

Maintenance Technician – Fitness Studios
Location: South West London
Schedule: 5 days across 7 (includes some weekends & evenings)
Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 40k

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Studio Maintenance Technician with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to see both the big picture and the small details that matter. You’ll be onsite daily, helping maintain exceptional studio standards across cleanliness, equipment, safety, and preventative maintenance.
This role is active, varied, and essential to the smooth running of several studios.
Key Responsibilities
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and safety compliance tasks
  • Maintain studio equipment
  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues and studio emergencies
  • Carry out basic repairs, cosmetic upkeep, and planned maintenance
  • Support daily cleaning and conduct spot checks as required
  • Coordinate with external contractors when needed
  • Manage studio inventory and equipment supplies
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman-type roles
  • Confident using power tools and maintenance machinery
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and manage changing priorities
  • Physically fit and able to move equipment safely
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset
  • Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
