Fitness Club Manager – Brand New Facility in Plymouth

A fantastic fitness job in Plymouth!

This is a great opportunity for a Membership Sales Consultant or Fitness Manager or Club Manager to take on the management of a brand new facility. Perhaps you are an experienced Personal Trainer looking for a more secure role?

My client has just opened their first health and fitness facility but have strong growth plans in 2022/3. They require a dedicated and passionate customer focused manager who is commercial and able to deliver an engaging customer experience whilst maintaining a superb training facility.

The main responsibilities of the Fitness Club Manager are;

  • Driving awareness of the club in the local community
  • Promoting the club via multiple platforms
  • Driving Member Acquisition
  • Reporting KPI’s to your line manager
  • Following a proven membership sales process to hit monthly targets
  • Opening and closing the club
  • Setting high standards of customer care and service
  • Maintaining and monitoring Brand standards
  • Recruiting, training and managing trainers for the club
  • Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met
  • Liaising with 3rd party contractors for cleaning, maintenance and utilities

The successful candidate will have;

  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to interact and be ‘hands on’
  • A background in fitness management or operational leisure management
  • A knowledge of health and safety
  • A level 3 fitness qualification
  • Experience with Personal Training and/or a PT product

This is a stand alone role which requires the successful individual to take ownership of the club as if it was their own business. You must be an outgoing character who enjoys meeting the demands of a fast paced environment head on!
