Gym & Spa Duty Manager - Luxury Residential Fitness & Wellness
Location: North West London - Camden (nearest station Chalk Farm/Camden Town)
Hours: Part time - Monday to Sunday
Pay: £14.80 p/h + Personal training
We are recruiting an experienced Gym & Spa Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations of a prestigious residential fitness and wellness facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, service-driven professional with a background in luxury leisure management, spa operations, gym management, boutique fitness, or premium hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, premium resident experience.
- Manage day-to-day gym and spa operations, ensuring outstanding standards of cleanliness, health & safety compliance, and presentation.
- Lead group exercise classes, provide personal training (PT sessions), and deliver tailored fitness and wellness programmes.
- Oversee facility opening and closing procedures, ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations, SOPs, and operational policies.
- Drive member engagement, resident retention, and community building within the fitness and wellness environment.
- Collaborate with the wider estate and hospitality teams to enhance overall resident lifestyle experience.
- Support commercial performance through high-quality PT delivery, member interaction, and achieving site performance targets.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (REPs or CIMSPA accredited) - Level 2 Gym Instructor considered with significant industry experience.
- Proven experience in luxury gyms, premium spas, leisure clubs, private health clubs, or high-end hospitality environments.
- Strong front-of-house presence with excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and confident managing operations independently.
- Solid understanding of health & safety, risk assessment, and compliance procedures within a fitness facility.
Desirable Skills & Certifications
- First Aid at Work certification
- Pool Safety or Pool Plant Operations knowledge
- Experience within boutique fitness studios, luxury wellness brands, or residential property amenities
