Housekeeping Assistant – North West London
Salary: £26,000 + Benefits
Hours: Full-Time | 5 out of 7 days

Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional with a passion for delivering five-star service? We’re hiring on behalf of one of London’s most prestigious retirement villages for a Housekeeping Assistant to join their exceptional hospitality team.

In this role, you'll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across private apartments and shared spaces—ensuring residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and luxurious living environment every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness in resident apartments, communal areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and replenishing amenities
  • Ensure all housekeeping activities are carried out with discretion, respect for residents’ privacy, and attention to detail
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or feedback from residents promptly to the relevant team
  • Assist with laundry services as required, including collection, washing, drying, and delivery of resident items
  • Support the team in preparing apartments for new resident arrivals, ensuring they are immaculate and welcoming
  • Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is clean, organised, and stocked
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in hospitality, concierge, and care teams to provide seamless service across the development
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality roles, ideally within a luxury environment
  • Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
  • Friendly, professional manner with a strong sense of discretion and respect for residents' personal spaces
  • Good communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays on a rota basis
