Contract Compliance and Quality Officer – South West London

 

A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Contract Compliance and Quality Officer in South West London to work across a London borough to ensure contract compliance and quality standards are achieved in accordance with contact specification. There is a strong emphasis on providing Health and Safety guidance to all staff and ensuring compliance with company policies.

 

The purpose of this role is to support the Contract Manager in ensuring that all paperwork is completed correctly and on time and that all operations are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety guidance and company compliance.

 

Key Areas of Accountability include:

  • To support and assist the Contract Manager and operational team to deliver a successful and high performing contract in accordance with the specification and client requirements
  • To be responsible for collating and quality auditing all compliance paperwork on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and ensuring this is submitted promptly to the administration team and filed accordingly
  • Undertake on-site inspections/audits to ensure contract compliance and quality standards are being met, providing reports to the Contract Manager and client as necessary
  • Work with Contract Manager to ensure resources (people, materials, etc.) are used efficiently. Report back to the Contract Manager where financial improvements/efficiencies can be made and where necessary oversee their implementation
  • Implement and maintain stock management system to ensure all materials are adequately stocked to ensure operational delivery and H&S/compliance requirements are met
  • Work to identify, organise and where appropriate deliver training.
  • Ensure all contract depots are safe and secure and that all individuals/organisations entering these comply with H&S requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure all workplaces are safe as can be and make recommendations for improvements
  • Support ad-hoc and small works/projects ensuring project objectives are met, the highest level of quality is delivered and H&S/compliance requirements are achieved.

Knowledge and Skills

  • A knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
  • A high level of accuracy
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full driving licence
  • The successful candidate will be using Word, Excel and Outlook on a regular basis.
