Contract Support Officer – South West London


30 hours


A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Contract Support Officer in South West London to work 30 hours a week across two London boroughs to improve the Health and Safety and compliance of the clients contract.


The purpose of this Contract Support Officer role is to support the Contract Manager in ensuring that all paperwork is completed correctly and on time and that all operations are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety guidance and company compliance.


Key Areas of Accountability include:


  • Support the Contract Management team in conducting spot checks of all paperwork being completed to ensure they are being completed properly and on time.
  • Collate paperwork, submit to administration team and file.
  • Monitoring of completion of the detailed tasks within the QHSE timetable as well as the completion of workplace and on-site activity inspections.
  • Arrange staff training as required through training providers.
  • Order materials as required in order to improve Health and Safety and compliance.
  • Conduct site audits including of our working practices in order to identify hazards and improve controls.
  • Assist in making our staff and workplaces as safe as practicable. Identifying any areas of improvement needed and helping to bring these about.
  • Tracking the completion of toolbox talks and briefings across teams
  • Assisting in following up on minutes and actions from safety meetings

Knowledge and Skills

  • A knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
  • A high level of accuracy and
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full driving licence
  • The successful candidate will be using Word, Excel and Outlook on a regular basis.
