An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded General Manager to lead the operations of a prestigious marina in Dorset. Ideally suited to an experienced Leisure, hospitality or Marina Manager
  
This role requires a strong and experienced General Manager who can take full ownership of marina performance, lead and develop the strategic vision, manage a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional experience for berth holders, visitors and tenants.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the marina, ensuring the highest standards of safety, presentation and service
• Recruit, manage and develop the marina team, providing clear leadership and ongoing development
• Take ownership of the marina's financial performance, managing budgets, costs and revenue streams
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities to maximise site profitability
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience, building strong relationships with berth holders and site tenants
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental and company policies
• Work closely with central support teams and senior leadership to deliver business objectives
• Manage marina administration to ensure accurate billing, contracts and revenue capture

  
About You
We are looking for a proven leader with strong operational and commercial experience, ideally gained within a marina, harbour, leisure, hospitality or similar operational environment.
  
Key requirements include:

• Significant leadership and management experience in a multi-faceted operational environment
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management experience
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with strong administrative and IT skills
• A proactive, hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining high operational standards
