Marina Operative (Night Shift)
Ipswich 
The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, working 19:00 - 07:00
Salary: £28,000
 
Join a fast-paced, customer-focused marina team in a hands-on night operations role. As a Marina Operative, you'll take ownership of site safety, security, and customer service, ensuring smooth overnight operations across the marina.
 
A practical, front-line position combining security, maintenance, and customer interaction. You'll be responsible for patrolling the site, monitoring safety, supporting visitors, and maintaining high operational standards throughout the night shift.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols and report any issues or incidents
  • Monitor safety and security of boats, buildings, vehicles, and people
  • Welcome late arrivals and visitors, managing access and enquiries
  • Allocate berths efficiently and support occupancy management
  • Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks
  • Keep the site clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and follow procedures
  • Ensure compliance with site regulations and HSE standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service on every interaction
