Are you an experienced Operations Manager or Production Manager with a background in food production? We’re hiring for an exciting role at a thriving Wholesale and Retail business specialising in premium British meat and game.

About the Role:
As Operations Manager, you will oversee and refine the operational processes across our diverse business units. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Wholesale and Retail operations, including logistics, site management, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee facilities and site management, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by upholding service standards.
  • Manage fleet operations to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety compliance in all processes.
  • Oversee order collation, invoicing, and stock management.
Essential Requirements:
  • Food Production or Butchery Experience: A strong background in food or butchery is essential, with hands-on knowledge of food safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven experience in an Operations Management role within a similar environment, such as food production, wholesale, or high-volume catering.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced setting.
  • A track record of achieving compliance in Health & Safety and food standards.
  • Approachable, positive, and highly adaptable with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Salary & Benefits:
  • Salary: Up to £50,000 (dependent on experience).
