About Role

Golf & Events Coordinator - Near Walton on Thames

High calibre events co-ordinator required to work as part of a successful sales and marketing team within a premium golf club group. You will be directly responsible for all event planning and co-ordinating for functions, weddings and golf days

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating event forms/function sheets which fit the customers’ requirements.

  • Planning multiple events at once which can include event aspects such as catering, timings and numbers etc.

  • Display a strong knowledge of the venue and our offerings. This would include client tours to demonstrate how their event could run.

  • Processing bookings onto the system accurately and correctly.

  • Assist the Sales team to improve relationships within the local community through outreach and other events.

    EVENT MANAGEMENT FOR GOLF DAYS, FUNCTIONS AND EVENTS

  • Prepare and issue detailed function sheets

  • Hold a weekly operations meeting.

  • Ensure we have signed terms and condition forms in line with the company procedures.

  • Liaise with organisers regarding final numbers and requirements.

  • Ensure there is an efficient handover of all events to all the relevant departments, in particular, the food and Beverage team. Communicate any changes to the relevant departments.

  • Meet and greet the event organisers and Bride and Grooms. Introduce them to the Food and Beverage co-ordinator on the day.

  • Initiate follow up to events following the company procedure.

  • The role requires a well presented individual with strong organisation & communications skills & ideally with similar experience working in a premium brand. Candidates with an Events Management degree will be considered for this role.

    Salary £23,000 to £26,000 dependent on experience
