Designate Centre Manager – The Massage Company

Location: Camberley / London

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 equivalent, plus commissions

The Massage Company is looking for an ambitious Designate Centre Manager to join their business at a truly exciting time with a number of new centres planned for 2020/21. It is expected that this role will progress into either a Pre-Opening Centre Manager position, or a more flexible operational position working with new opening sites, or a combination of both.

Position requirements:

  1. Being a ‘face’ of the company, within the centre in Camberley initially, particularly to customers and members
  2. Being part of the team selling memberships through face to face discussion, on follow up sales calls, and generating new clientele through promoting member referral
  3. Providing support to the Centre Managers, to both establish the operational processes and learn the company ethos.  The ongoing management of the team of Membership Supervisors and Massage Therapists by the Centre Manager will be supported by this role
  4. Getting the word out that we’re open for new business
  5. Create excellent experience for members/guests through friendly and helpful attitude, and ensuring the team maintain these high-quality standards
  6. Responsible for scheduling appointments over the phone, on email, and in person
  7. If qualified in massage treatments (not essential), then providing clients with the best massage service advice to fit their needs, and by matching them to the right therapist during the pre-treatment discussions
  8. Promoting our internal upgrades of hot stones, scalp massage, aromatherapy or ‘fantastic foot treatment’
  9. Answering customer questions and concerns with urgency, care and sincerity
  10. Create excellent experience for members/guests through friendly and helpful attitude
  11. Being part of centre promotional activity, both onsite and offsite locally
  12. Responsible for handling the HR, holiday, scheduling and other operational processes that underpin the business operation
  13. Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, spa retreat supervisors and management
  14. Must be eligible to work in the UK and speak a standard of English that enables you to communicate professionally with our clients
